John Wayne Airport Settlement Agreement

John Wayne Airport Settlement Agreement

“The Orange County Supervisors Board should not prioritize a handful of billionaires over the thousands of residents of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa,” Congresswoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, of which the airport is a part, said in a written statement read by a councillor. The agreement is subject to final approval by the FAA and the U.S. Department of Justice. The next step is for airport staff to return with draft tender documents – known as RFP – to superiors who would define more details on airport changes. No date has been set for the documents to be submitted to superiors for approval, which must be done at a public meeting. The airport has four open car parks in the main terminal: A1, A2, B2 and C.
